Worship Arts unpacked:
Our desire and purpose is to offer weekly corporate worship experiences that have as their objective to bring the diverse and growing West Hills family into a dynamic and authentic encounter with the one true God, as we "unleash the arts to make God known." As a ministry team, we will accomplish this by being an authentic, loving community ourselves. Our overarching objective is to transform people from being Sunday morning worshippers to being authentic and enthusiastic seven-days-a-week worshippers. We recognize that when it comes to worship styles and preferences we cannot be all things to all people, nor will we attempt to be. We will continue to develop the "West Hills worship DNA" that fits who we are and the people we are seeking to reach, including generational and racial diversity. While being fundamentally a worship experience for the people of God, we will also strive for it to be an experience that is attractive and intriguing to an unbeliever and the person who has become disillusioned with the established church. While striving for excellence and creativity in all that we do, we will especially seek to be authentic and without pretense or showmanship, so that both our "brilliant successes" and our "stumbling mistakes" will be for the glory of God.
