Worship Arts Opportunities
Set Design
We are currently seeking several individuals to take ownership of our set design. Our vision is to transform our stage area to reflect a worshipful atmosphere that may include thematic elements of the current sermon series/message is being taught. There is a lot of room for creativity and leadership in this ministry. If you would like to be a part of an exciting ministry that will utilize your talent and creativity, please contact Eric Bausell.
Music
Musicians - If you have instrumental talent and a desire to be a part of our worship team, please contact Eric Bausell to set up an audition. All instruments are welcome.
Vocalists - If you have any singing experience, we would love to hear your voice! We are always on the look-out for worship team vocalists, and we are hoping to start a choir beginning this summer. All those interested, please contact Eric Bausell.
Audio/Visual
If you have a desire to serve and a willingness to learn, then you are the perfect candidate for Team AV. No previous experience is required.
We have current needs for assistance in four different areas:
- Podcast technicians - Help us upload our Sunday messages to the website. Time requirements are about 4 hours/month (2 hours every other week) on Sundays after church.
- Media operators - Use the computer on Sunday mornings to display Lyrics and Sermon Notes. Time requirements are about 7 hours/shift (3 hours for practice during the week and about 4 hours on Sunday morning). You may have a shift twice a month or less.
- Seven technicians - We need volunteers to help the youth on Wednesday nights! They often use lighting, video, and have their own praise band. This is a special position due to the time and training requirement, but if you have a desire to help with students and enjoy "rocking out", let us know!
- Lighting Technician - We need someone to volunteer for special events to run the lighting system in the Doxa. Hours vary depending on need, but it typical to have about 1 special event per each month, requiring about 7 hours per event (2 hr. rehearsal and 5 hrs. for an average event) to develop lighting flow and run the system.
