Kim-Director of Communications
Family: I have been married to my fantastic husband, Matt, for 3.5 years. We are the proud parents of 2 animals: Grace, our tuxedo kitty was my favorite wedding present. Misha (lab/Australian Shephard) is 2 years old. My parents along with my 2 older brothers and their families all live in Kansas City.
Education: After graduating from Smithville High School, I traveled to Colorado Springs to attend a Discipleship Training School through YWAM. I then went on to receive my Bachelor's degree from Southwest Missouri State University (it will always be SMSU to me) in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations.
How I came to West Hills: Honestly, we came to the church because the "tower" drew Matt's eye from the highway! We were embraced by the members and immediately plugged into a life group.
Scripture: Ephesians 3:17-19 God's love is greater than we could ever fathom! This was one of my mom's favorite verses when I was younger, and as I have grown both physically and spiritually it has been a constant in reminder that I am loved more deeply and unconditionally than I could ever understand.
Vacation: Right now our destination map says that the Dominican Republic has been our favorite vacation destination, but we traveled to Venice this summer, and it's giving the D.R. a run for its money.
Random: I spent each summer throughout college singing and dancing in the oldies/variety shows at the Worlds of Fun amusement part in Kansas City. Best summer job EVER!
