Family: I have 1 husband and 2 children and 2 dogs in that order although one of my children doesn't agree. I am fortunate to have 2 parents still living as well.

How you came to West Hills: My mom was a single parent and had switched churches on me during college. We had only one car...so I reluctantly came here instead of my previous church. I met my future husband on that excursion .... I've been here since 1976.

Books: Have you read John Milton?
Food: If you cook it for me, I'll be there to eat.
Vacation: If it's out of the country, sign me up.
Pets: If it has fur, I'll probably want it. Currently I live with an English SPRINGER Spaniel and a black Labrador RETRIEVER. They play bone wars a lot. Each of them gets a rawhide bone. The lab eats his right away. The spaniel waits and waits. When the lab's bone is consumed then the spaniel starts to flount his possession. Then bone wars begin. They last for several hours. The lab is absolutely beside himself. "I have to have that bone." When he is successful then he parades around the yard with his treasure.
I Love....: In case someone really reads this, I love éclairs, coconut crème pie and chocolate when it's mixed with nuts and caramel. I also love books. I read about 3 at a time. I love poetry, history, classics. I love the outdoors and I love to try to garden. My results are often impeded by the paragraph above this one.
Most Passionate About: The church understanding that children are part of the church now, not just when they become adults. Worshipping God with children will make your spirit soar and bring you to tears. . . .
