"The Request" Concert of Prayer

As a church, we are continually praying for God’s guidance in achieving our vision of being a missionally growing church, building bridges to a hurting world with the love of Christ. As Resurrection Sunday quickly approaches, we want to maximize the opportunities that naturally present themselves during this time of year to touch lives with the truth of the salvation that Christ offers. Many people make a special trip to church on “Easter” to turn their hearts and minds to “church” on Resurrection Sunday. We’re excited about touching these lives, but we want the impact made on them to reach beyond a great Sunday morning service experience. We are hosting four events that will culminate to a huge celebration service on Resurrection Sunday.
Our first event leading up to Resurrection Sunday will be “The Request:” Concert of Prayer. The purpose of this gathering is to unite the people of West Hills in praising God for all He has inspired us to do in 2010 and to ask His favor on us as we plan and prepare for 50 or more lives to be touched in radical ways through “The Rise.” Orchestrated by Barbara Underwood, this hour-long event will be a powerful time in God’s presence. Families are encouraged to attend the event together. Join us in our “Request” on Saturday, February 27th, 5-6p.m.
