New ABF's coming this fall! Choose from a variety of elective classes during either the 1st or 2nd service. More details to come.
Women's 12-week study "Being Yourself," Sept. 13th-Nov. 22nd, during the 1st service: "You have talents and gifts and desires that are uniquely yours, but you may be thinking that you're just not good enough. Only God knows everything about you, and he loves you just as you are. Discover who you are in God's eyes, evaluate your strengths and abilities, learn how to resist trying to be perfect, and just...be yourself! Twelve weeks of Bible study, questions for discussion, and a Leader's Guide are included for your small group study." (taken from back of study. This study is part of the Woman of Faith series). Back-to-School with Bridge of Hope

Student Ministries is collecting school supplies for Bridge of Hope Community Church and its surrounding community.
On August 29th, Bridge of Hope is hosting a community rally to kick off the new school year, offering free healthcare, legal counsel and other community support opportunities. It is our goal to have school supplies available for every child attending the event. Every student deserves to embark on the school year equipped with the resources to succeed.
Please join us in making that happen for the kids of this community.

Ministry 2010

Immediately following the 2nd service, we are holding a potluck meeting to present our 2010 ministry visions/goals. The ministries presenting today are:Children's, Missions, Finance, Worship and Life Ministries.
Potluck details: the church is providing sandwiches. Please bring a side or dessert to feed four.
The third meeting (8/23) will be an roll-up of all the plans, focusing on:
1. Elder 2010 Vision
2. Staffing plan
3. Overall budget
The final meeting (9/13) will be a vote-only meeting on the FY2010 budget. No discussion will be called by the moderator.
The goal is to talk through our ministry plans so that everyone has a chance to understand and participate in the direction for 2010. Once we've voted, the staff and MLT will have a full month lead time on getting ready to reach their goals. We hope that everyone will participate in all five meetings, but if you can't make every meeting, we the videos posted on each "Event" page here on our website.
