Who we are:
West Hills is a growing family of men, women, students and children discovering what it means to be loved by God and to love Him in return. We understand that everyone is at a different place in their faith journey. We simply want to help each person take the next step, whatever that might be.
We accept the fact that life is messy and at times very hard. As a church, we are not into giving cliche religious answers to people who find themselves in the struggles and trials of everyday life. But we also believe that as we seek to know God better through the Scriptures and in the context of a loving church family, that there can be joy in the journey, even when it is hard.
We seek to be authentic followers of Jesus, not pretending to be something that we're not. We desire to be passionate in our worship, loving in our relationships, grounded in our discipleship, generous in our giving and compassionate in our service.
We want to build bridges of love to the communities of which we are a part through acts of service, demonstrating the love of Jesus Christ.
Our Purpose:
We believe that our ultimate purpose is to glorify and delight in God and to bring Him much joy. We will achieve this as we: Bring people to know the love of Jesus, enfold them into God's family, help them become true followers of Christ and train them for life-transforming service in the church, community and world.
